Composer-in-residence at Haute École de Musique in Lausanne
In the academic year 2023-2024, Agata Zubel is composer-in-residence at HEMU – Haute École de Musique in Lausanne. In the current season, HEMU offers a series of events – concerts, workshops, master classes and discussions introducing the composer’s work.
Concerts with works by Agata Zubel and master classes in the interpretation of the composer’s works:
November 8-9, 2023 – master classes in vocal music
November 13, 2023 – performance of “Triptyque” by l’Ensemble contemporain de l’HEMU, conducted by Guillaume Bourgogne
January 15, 2024 – performance of “Cleopatra’s Songs” by l’Ensemble contemporain de l’HEMU conducted by Guillaume Bourgogne
March 18, 2024 – open discussions and master classes in chamber music and solo repertoire
March 19, 2024 – improvisation master course
April 24, 2024 – concert with chamber works
June 30, 2024 – premiere of the piece “Es lärmt das Licht” during the International Sacred Music Festival in Fribourg (FIMS)
