The “Polonica Nova” Wrocław Music Prize was established on the initiative of the City of Wrocław and Polish Radio Channel Two and is awarded in collaboration with Wrocław Philharmonic, in connection with the “Musica Polonica Nova” Polish Contemporary Music Festival. It is presented to a selected Polish composer for the best composition premiered within the last two years, and composed within the last five years.
